Why are real estate agents attacking FSBO sellers? Well from my perspective it is because the FSBO seller presents a threat to their future income. The FSBO Seller is always provided statistical numbers basically saying they have no chance or very slim chance of selling their home FSBO. The last time I checked anything is possible and selling FSBO is certainly possible.

Well this is what I will say do your research and follow some of these tips below.
1. Dedicate yourself to selling FSBO
2. Remove your emotions from the process. (you are selling a house not your home)
3. Think about why FSBO sellers fail and do the opposite
4. You must approach it like a job after all that is what you expect from a real estate agent.
5. Search the internet for FREE FSBO marketing services and tools (many available).
6. It will also not hurt to plan a local area advertising in print media.
7. Determine what you can save in commissions & put a small fraction of that towards advertising.
8. Do not let the fear factor from real estate agents deter you in anyway.
9. Remember not all MLS properties sell quickly or sell at all.
10. Also be aware that many MLS’s networks have average Days On Market exceeding 140 days.
11. Also understand the that statistical numbers you see can be manipulated.
12. A number to be fully aware of is Cost of Commission vs. Your Equity (Example $400,000 home with $100,000 equity & 6% commission = 24% of your equity). Not Acceptable.
13. You also want to consider Open Houses on the weekends.
14. Never forget about the first impression either – Consider professionally staging your home.

The many point hear is for a FSBO seller to map out a plan for success. You will never get your desired result if you do not put forth a serious effort. I understand your time is valuable but your savings can be more valuable.
